The platform says it disagrees with the orders, which include demands to block access to accounts belonging to international news organizations and prominent X users. X claims that in many cases, the government has not specified which posts from an account have violated India's local laws, nor provided evidence to justify the account blocks. Despite its disagreement, X has begun the process of blocking the specified accounts in India to comply with the orders.
